Why it burns

Pay-to-rank boards have one failure mode. The top spot gets bought for $50, then $200, then $4,000, and after a week nobody new can afford to play. The board freezes, the early buyers own it forever, and everyone else leaves.

Decay fixes that. Fuel burns at 8% a day, so a position is rented, never owned. The price of first place falls continuously, which means there is always a moment when it's affordable — and always a reason for whoever holds it to come back.

It also makes the board honest. Rank isn't a claim about quality; it's a public number showing how much someone is currently paying to be seen. Every listing shows its exact remaining fuel and how fast it's dropping. Nothing is hidden and nothing is inferred.

No accounts, no logins, no dashboards. You pay, your listing appears, Stripe emails you the receipt. If you want it gone, reply to that receipt.
